Texas can lock in a double-bye for next week’s SEC tournament by completing a sweep of Kentucky on Saturday.

No. 5 Texas (44-9) already locked up a series victory over visiting Kentucky (29-24) with a victory on Friday. Now on Saturday, the Longhorns will try to secure a top-four finish and a double-bye for next week’s Southeastern Conference tournament when they close out their series with the Wildcats at Red & Charline McCombs Field in Austin, Texas. Texas is third in the SEC at 15-8, a half-game ahead of fourth-place Tennessee, and a win on Saturday locks them into the top four in the SEC. Kentucky, at 7-16, can finish no better than 13th and will play in the first round of the single-elimination conference tournament on Tuesday.
