The Sooners took the opener on Saturday 5-1 and are looking to clinch the series win on Sunday. The Sooners had their bats silenced for the first six innings, but they scored five runs in the top of the seventh to get the come-from-behind win. The win pushed their record to 36-3 on the season and has them 10-3 in the SEC. The two teams will wrap up their series on Monday night and then the Sooners will play a three-game series with the Mississippi State Bulldogs next weekend. The Sooners have been the class of the country over the last five years and are looking to stay there this season.

The Crimson Tide, though, are looking to even the series and upset the Sooners on Sunday afternoon.

The Crimson Tide came into this weekend fresh off a big 8-5 win over No. 5 LSU, but came up just short of winning the opener on Saturday.

They did lose two of three to the Tigers last weekend and they have now dropped three of their last four games and it has dropped them to 28-16 overall and 5-8 in the SEC.

The Crimson Tide will hit the road next weekend to play the rival Florida Gators, but is still trying to find a way to win the series with the Sooners.
