Ole Miss will head to Tucson, Arizona, on Saturday afternoon to face off against hometown team Arizona in a college softball game in the Tucson Regional on the road to the Women’s College World Series. The winner of the Tucson Regional will take on the winner of the Fayetteville Regional in the Super Regionals. The No. 10-ranked Wildcats finished their season with a 46-11 record overall and a 17-7 record against Big 12 teams. They lost on the road to Texas Tech in the Big 12 Championship before coming back home and hosting this regional.

They took on and dominated Santa Clara in the first game on Friday, winning 13-5. Miranda Stoddard picked up her 13th win of the season and remains undefeated after throwing four innings, allowing just one earned run. Sydney Stewart and Stoddard hit home runs in the game, with Stewart also having four RBIs.
The No. 25-ranked Rebels finished the season 38-17 overall and 11-13 against teams in the Southeastern Conference. They lost to Texas 7-6 in the SEC Tournament to end their conference run before heading to Arizona. They opened up the Tucson Regional against Grand Canyon on Friday and won that game 7-4.
Brianna Lopez picked up win No. 12 on the season in this game, allowing one earned run with three strikeouts over 6.1 innings. Aliyah Binford went 3-for-4 on the night with a double and three RBIs, while Ashton Lansdell had a home run and an RBI on her only hit of the night.
The loser of this game will take on the winner of Santa Clara and Grand Canyon in an elimination game.
