The team finished the game with six hits, but left all of the runners stranded, resulting in the shutout. Delaney Baker dropped to 3-6 on the season with four innings of work in which she gave up two earned runs and struck out one batter.

Against the Cardinal, Kaylah Nelson and Haley Denning each had two hits with Denning finishing the game with two RBIs from two singles. Mariah Lopez moved to 9-7 on the season as she was credited with the loss in the circle. Lopez pitched two innings and struck out two batters while also giving up two earned runs in the loss.
