Top-seeded UCLA takes on Arizona in the second semifinal of the Pac-12 Softball Tournament on Friday night.
Regular season champion UCLA looks to win a seventh straight game on Friday night when it takes on Arizona in the Pac-12 Softball Tournament. The Bruins were dominant during the regular season as they finished 14-4 in the Pac-12 as they won all but one of their conference series. One of those wins came against the Wildcats at the end of April as they took two of three games. They won the opener 10-2 in five innings but lost the second game 8-4. They would clinch the series with an 11-7 win in the finale. The victory was the first of their current six-game winning streak. They stayed hot on Thursday as they took down Arizona State 8-0 in the tournament quarterfinals. Friday they will look to continue their run and earn a berth into the finals on Saturday.

The Wildcats, though, are looking to upset the Bruins and make a surprise appearance in the championship game.
The Wildcats have won two straight since losing to the Bruins in the final game of their series. They beat Grand Canyon to end the regular season and then they whipped Washinton 11-3 on Thursday in the quarterfinals.
They got their bats going against the Huskies as they scored in five of the six innings and put the game away with four runs in the top of the sixth.
