The UPenn Quakers are 6-3 overall this season. They have only played in one conference game and are 1-0 against conference teams. They are 2-1 on the road and bring a four-game winning streak into this match. Their last loss came on January 10th against former No. 14-ranked South Dakota State, 21-16. They started their win streak with a win 41-3 against Sacred Heart a week later.

Just a day after they beat Sacred Heart, they took on Drexel at home and won 30-12 while beating Wyoming 26-14 in the same day. All four of those games including a win against Ohio, 38-9, were apart of the Elite Duals. After that, they went on the road in their last match on Friday and beat their first Ivy League opponent in Columbia, 24-20.

The Hofstra Pride are 5-4 overall this season and have a 2-1 record against teams in their conference. They are 2-1 at home and 2-3 on the road. They haven’t been at home since November 16, 2024. Between tournaments on neutral mats and away games, they have spent the last two months away from Hempstead.

They opened in January in Vestal, New York, against Binghamton. They ended up losing that match 31-6. Just a day later, they went to Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and took on Franklin and Marshall on Friday. After a 10-day break, they went to Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, and beat Bloomsburg on the road, 35-12, in their last game before this one.
