Top-ranked Penn State eyes the NCAA all-division record for consecutive dual-meet wins when it hosts No. 16 Rutgers on Saturday.

The No. 1 Penn State Nittany Lions (6-0) look to make history on Saturday afternoon when they host the No. 16 Rutgers Scarlet Knights (6-2) in the Big Ten Conference opener for both teams at Rec Hall in University Park, Pennsylvania. With their pair of wins at the Collegiate Wrestling Duals in Nashville on Dec. 20, the Nittany Lions tied and then broke the previous mark of 76 straight wins set by Oklahoma A&M (now Oklahoma State) in 1951. Rutgers has never beaten Penn State in 25 meets and comes off the team title at the Midlands Championships in Evanston, Illinois, on Dec. 29-30.
