How to Watch Australia at England: Stream One-Day International Cricket Live, TV Channel

Australia opens a five-match series on Thursday in its tour of England after the nation’s T20 series ended in a draw.

Australia and England shift gears from T20 cricket to the one-day format as the Aussies English tour continues on Thursday at Nottingham with the opener of a five-game ODI series. It’s the first meeting between the international cricket powers since last November’s ICC Cricket World Cup in India where the Aussies pummeled the English by 33 runs in group stage play before winning the championship with wins over No. 2 South Africa and the top-ranked hosts from India. Harry Brook captains England in the series with Jos Buttler out with a calf injury. Mitch Marsh skippers Australia.

Australia comes to England with the No. 2 spot in the ODI world rankings, trailing India. England holds the No. 7 spot. The Aussies return many of their big guns in Steve Smith, Glenn Maxwell, Mitchell Starc, Marnus Labuschagne and Alex Carey. Cooper Connolly and Ben Dwarshuis shift over from the T20 squad and teenager Mahli Beardman gets his first senior international experience as a standby player.

Brook is captaining England for the first time and is its third captain this summer. Ollie Pope filled in for Ben Stokes during a Test series against Sri Lanka and Phil Salt replaced Buttler in last week’s T20 matchup with the Aussies. Jacob Bethell, a 20-year-old all-rounder, is set to make his debut for England.

The last non-World Cup ODI series was a three-game set hosted by Australia in November 2022. The Aussies swept the three matches. Last week’s T20 series was supposed to be three matches, but after splitting the first two decisions, the rubber match was abandoned due to heavy rain in Manchester.
