DHA comes off a dominant victory on Thursday, beating the North Nawabs by one run without having to bat in its second inning after hanging up 121 runs in its first go-around. Waseem Shinwari bowled a dominant match, taking six wickets and allowing only 25 runs in his two overs. Taimoor Mirza powered the first-inning offensive explosion with 85 runs on 24 balls, taking eight of them over the boundary for six runs each.

The Knights also played on Thursday, taking a 113/1 and 117/2 to 70/3 and 61/5 pummeling from defending champion Clifton Popular. Ijaz Ahmed scored 31 runs and Shaif Ullah Saife added 26 in the loss. Fazal Ur Rehman took two wickets.

Mirza leads the Dabangs with 199 runs and 21 6s while Kamran Arif’s 73 runs tops Karachi’s squad. Shinwari and Salman Khan have taken seven wickets apiece for DHA while Ur Rehman’s four is the best for the Knights.
