The Antigua & Barbuda Falcons (2-4, 4 points) have bounced back from a 0-4 start with consecutive victories and on Wednesday night remain on the road to visit the Barbados Royals (2-0, 4 points) at Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados. The Falcons and Royals each come off two-wicket road victories in their last matches. Antigua & Barbuda is in its first season in the Caribbean Premier League after the Jamaica Tallawahs, one of the league’s charter clubs in 2013, folded in December. The Falcons, formed in February, bring Antigua back into the CPL for the first time since the Antigua Hawksbills folded after the 2014 season in favor of the formation of the St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots.

Antigua & Barbuda picked up its second straight win on Sunday, winning at St. Kitts & Nevis 154-8 to 153-8. Justin Greaves led the batsmen with 30 runs on a 187.50 strike rate. Brandon King added 29 runs with a 181.25 strike rate. Imad Wasim led a strong performance by the bowlers with two wickets and a 6.00 economy rate in four overs. Mohammed Amir and Kofi James each notched 6.75 rates, with Amir hitting three wickets and James two.
Barbados also comes off a road win over the Patriots, taking a 157-8 to 153-8 decision on Friday. Dunith Wellalage scored 39 runs and Kadeem Alleyne 30, with Alleyne posting a 166.67 strike rate and three 6s. Maheesh Theekshana bowled four masterful overs, with a 4.00 economy rate and two wickets. Obed McCoy worked 3.5 overs with a 6.00 economy rate and a pair of wickets.
