    The 2025 PDC World Cup of Darts heads to the knockout stage in Germany with the final 16 remaining teams.

    The knockout stage of the 2025 PDC World Cup of Darts begins with the final 16 teams. At the outset of the tournament England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland all got a pass into the knockout stage as the top four teams in the world. They await the final 12 teams who all went through the group stage to qualify. At the outset of the tournament there were 16 ranked teams along with 24 unseeded teams all vying for the knockout stage. Those 36 teams were broken up into 12 groups with three teams represented in each facing off in round robin matches to earn a spot in the knockout stage.

    As of this writing Group L is the only one to not finish its qualifying. New Zealand takes on Argentina in the final match of group play to determine the last team in the knockout stage. Heading into this final match of group play both teams are undefeated with upset wins over 16th seed Finland.

    Already qualified for the knockout stage are fifth seed the Netherlands (2-0), seven seed Germany (2-0), eight seed Ireland (1-1), 11 seed Sweden (1-1) and 14 seed Czech Republic (2-0).

    Also qualified are unseeded teams in the Philippines (2-0), South Africa (1-1), Malaysia (2-0), Australia (2-0), Hong Kong (2-0) and Switzerland (1-1) all looking to upset their way to the 2025 PDC World Cup of Darts championship.
