The night will start with the season finale of Chicago Med, followed by Chicago Fire, and then the season finale of Chicago P.D. Tonight’s season finale of Chicago Fire entitled “It Had to End This Way,”, won’t suffer from a lack of diverse and intriguing plot lines. First we see firefighter and company officer of the Rescue Squad 3 Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) risking his career to support a fellow firefighter. That isn’t just any firefighter though. That would be Chief Dom Pascal (Dermot Mulroney) who faces accusations of attempted murder. Usually defending the chief firefighter would be a good thing for one’s career, but Severide showing loyalty to Pascal put him on the wrong side of higher authorities.

Pascal is the prime suspect in Robert Franklin’s accident and the evidence points to the Chief liking committing the crime. As we saw in the penultimate episode of this season, Severide shows that he doesn’t think Pascal was the one who tampered with Franklin’s vehicle. There are a lot of mysteries to still be resolved tonight that you’ll not want to miss a moment of.
If that wasn’t enough, officer in charge of Truck 81 Stella Kidd tries to balance the line of navigating Natalie Evans’ complicated relationship with her sister. It’s the season finale, so there won’t be a moment wasted as veteran firefighter Christopher Hermann prepares to take the Chief test.
