FBI: International returns for season four on Tuesday night with the fall premiere at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
On Tuesday night, one of Dick Wolf’s newest shows will return to CBS for its season premiere as FBI: International kicks off its fall run at 9 p.m. ET. International is the third chapter of the successful FBI franchise, following the elite operatives of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s International Fly Team. Headquartered in Budapest, the agents travel the world with the mission of tracking and neutralizing threats against American citizens wherever they may be. Not allowed to carry guns, the Fly Team members rely on intelligence, quick thinking and pure brawn as they put their lives on the line to protect the U.S. and its people.

In the first episode of the new season, the Fly Team is introduced to Supervisory Special Agent Wesley “Wes” Mitchell when his partner is shot in Los Angeles and the suspects flee to Budapest, sending Mitchell overseas. Jesse Lee Soffer joins the cast as “Wes” following a break from television. Soffer is no stranger to Dick Wolf’s shows, having played Detective Jay Halstead in Chicago P.D. from 2014-2022. He had also made appearances on Chicago Med, Chicago Fire and Law & Order: SVU.
Another cast member who came from Chicago Med is Colin Donnell who was on the show for four years. While Donnell is only shown on two episodes of the upcoming season, time will tell if he earns a more permanent role.
Station 19’s Jay Hayden will join the cast further into the season as well. A longtime friend of Soffer, the dynamic between the two should be fun to watch. The two have coached each other for auditions for years, but this will be the firs time they have appeared together on a show.
Tune in Tuesday night as the existing characters welcomes Soffer’s in the series premiere and continue to tune in to watch Soffer’s storyline in a new Wolf universe with FBI: International.
