Happy’s Place is back for the second part of its premiere season on Friday night at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. The iconic Reba McEntire returns to TV comedy in this heartfelt new series as Bobbie, a tough but lovable woman inherits her late father’s Tennessee tavern – only to discover that her new co-owner is also the half-sister she never knew she had! They couldn’t be more different, but they’ll navigate this new life together because at Happy’s Place, everyone is family.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, McEntire opened up about her experience filming Happy’s Place, and what fans should expect from the new show. “It’s lots of fun. I love all genres of entertainment. But the sitcoms are so much fun, cause it’s a brand new script every week. And you’re just having fun. It’s really hard memorizing dialogue you have to do, but it ain’t my first rodeo. I do love it. And it’s just playtime. We have a blast with it,” she told the outlet.

In the new episode on Friday, when Bobbie tries to claim her rightful role as emcee for the Tavern’s anniversary party, she ignites a fierce showdown with Gabby, who’s determined to steal the spotlight. Also, Isabella and Steve bet on who will come out on top, adding fuel to the fire.
