Funny lady Kaitlin Olson returns to the small screen on Tuesday night with the premiere of High Potential on ABC.
On Tuesday night, ABC will premiere an all-new comedy at 10 p.m. ET with the series premiere of High Potential. Morgan, a single mom with three kids and an exceptional mind played by Kaitlin Olson, helps solve an unsolvable crime when she rearranges some evidence during her shift as a cleaner for the police department. When they discover she has a knack for putting things in order because of her high intellectual potential, she is brought on as a consultant to work with a by-the-book seasoned detective, Karadec, played by Daniel Sunjata. Together the two form an unusual and unstoppable team.

Olson is most known for her character Dee Reynolds on the sitcom It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia which ran from 2005-2023. In addition, she has appeared in multiple shows, movies and voiced several animated characters.
Sunjata has also appeared in several television shows with his most recognized role being Agent Paul Briggs in Graceland. Playing a police detective will come second nature to Sunjata as many of his roles have included characters working in law enforcement.
In the pilot episode on Tuesday night, viewers will be introduced to the main characters and receive the background information about each. Olson’s role as a “high-potential intellectual” is made even funnier by the comedian’s delivery and will leave the audience laughing. Her character traits include a 160 IQ, a hypersensitive eye for detail, a photographic memory and a mind too restless to let things go.
