Outlander returns for part two of season seven picking up with the characters during the Revolutionary War.

The seventh season of the STARZ hit series Outlander continues the story of the Frasers as they navigate the Revolutionary War. This season has been split into two eight episode arcs with the first half ending as the Frasers made plans to head back to Scotland. Outlander stars Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan as Claire and James Fraser leading up to the Revolutionary War as they try to navigate not only a war, but time travel in this twist on a historical drama. Claire is on a path to get back to her time, but faces countless complications from the war, the group she has fallen in with for safety, Clan MacKenzie, and her husband that she married to keep her cover as a time traveler.

In previous seasons the show has featured Tobias Menzies as the villainous Frank Randall, Graham Lacroix as Murtagh Fitzgibbons Fraser and several other supporting performances around the main stars of the show.

This season will see the return of Richard Rankin as Roger Wakefield, Sophie Skelton as Brianna Randle, David Berry as Lord John Grey and John Bell as Ian Fraser Murray. The second part of season seven has the Frasers back in Scotland, but with the ending of the show on the horizon, this is not the chapter. Season eight is expected to be the conclusion to this time travel period piece about the Frasers.
