Scam Goddess will premiere the podcast turned television show with its first episode on Freeform on Wednesday night. Laci Mosley loves scams. For more than five years, the actor and comedian—known for series like A Black Lady Sketch ShowFlorida Girls, and the currently airing Going Dutch—has hosted the Earwolf podcast Scam Goddess, in which she and a guest preach to the CONgregation about swindles, robberies, fraud, and the like.

And now, she’s stepping out from behind the microphone in this new Freeform series, digging into six true-crime stories. Some of the content that will be a part of the show was also featured on the podcast.

This first episode is entitled “Horseplay Heist.” Mosley digs into the story of Rita Crundwell, who stole $53 million from her town. Learning Rita used the money to fund her lavish equestrian lifestyle and Laci meets the whistleblower who finally reined in Rita’s wild ride.

Scam Goddess is produced by Carrie Cook, John Henshaw, Eli Holzman, Aaron Saidman, and David Sloan. It stars Laci Mosley as the host. This series premiere will not be one that you will want to miss. Catch the premiere on Freeform on Wednesday night starting at 10:00 p.m. ET. Episode 2, “Sideline Scammer,” will continue the series on Jan. 22.
