The characters in Sullivan’s Crossing are back to pick up the pieces in the season 3 premiere on The CW on Wednesday. Picking up the pieces is the best way to describe season 3 after the events of the second season. This season picks up a few months after the fire that devastated a diner that the town held close to its heart. Morgan Kohan is back as neurosurgeon Maggie Sullivan, who moved back home to Nova Scotia after getting into legal trouble. Her father Harry Sullivan, played by Scott Patterson, along with Chad Michael Murray’s character, Cal Jones, continue to help her.

Sullivan’s Crossing is based on the hit book series of the same name written by author Robyn Carr. To date the book series has five entries starting in 2016 with “What We Find” all the way to the most recent book released in 2020 titled “The Country Guesthouse.”

The first two seasons of Sullivan’s Crossing saw 10 episodes each season. Season 3 is also 10 episodes, starting with the season premiere titled “New Beginnings.” The first two episodes of this season are directed by Jonathan Wright, including episode two titled “Out of the Blue” with writing coming from series creator Roma Roth, Rosana Roth and N.T. Grey.
