TLC will take another dive into a medical docuseries with Take My Tumor premiering Wednesday night.
TLC has been no stranger to medical shows with My 600 LB. Life and Dr. Pimple Popper, but on Wednesday night, the network will introduce an all-new show with Take My Tumor. The stakes are a bit higher in this docuseries as Drs. Kimberly Moore Dalal, Jason Cohen and Ryan F. Osborne take on some of the most challenging cases of their careers by removing tumors from patients with extreme cases. The new series will highlight unique patients, difficult surgeries and life-changing procedures. Patients from around the world will travel to the doctors with the hopes of taking out a new lease on life with the removal of the tumors that have plagued them for years.

Between a woman who has over a thousand tumors on her body from the top of her head to the tip of her toes and another woman who has a 20-pound tumor beginning at the base of her neck and stretches to below her waist, the cases the doctors face are challenging to say the least. Doctors Dalal, Cohen and Osborne help their patients realize their worth and return a quality of life that many of them have not had for a long time.
In the series premiere, Charmaine travels to Beverly Hills from Trinidad. She suffers from one of the most extreme cases of neurofibromatosis ever recorded. Tumors cover every inch of her body and obstruct her ability to breathe and swallow. Without surgery, these growing tumors threaten her life and it’s up to the doctors to try and save it.
