This is the first season that none of the women from the original cast or even the first two seasons of the show are back in the main cast. Cynthia Bailey returns as a friend of the main cast after spending 11 seasons on the main cast and one more as a guest. Phaedra Parks is back in the main cast after leaving the show in season nine. Porsha Williams is also back after a few seasons away from the show. Season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta will also feature three brand new faces to give the show new life.

Brit Eady, Kelli Ferrell and Angela Oakley all join the show for the first time this season. None of these three new cast members were friends of the cast or guests in previous seasons.

Drew Sidora is back for her fourth straight season as the longest running active cast member. She joined in season 13 as original cast member NeNe Leakes was transitioning off of the show. This fresh cast will carry the baton forward for the series with all new stories.

Also expected to make appearances this season are Kenya Moore and Monyetta Shaw-Carter as guests. Tune in all season to watch the women of The Real Housewives of Atlanta on Bravo to follow the drama throughout season 16.
