South Division-leading Munich Ravens visit the high-octane Berlin Thunder from the North Division on Sunday

The Munich Ravens (3-1) got back on the winning track last week at home and on Sunday head back out on the road to visit the Berlin Thunder (2-3) at Preussenstadion in Berlin, Germany. The Ravens are a half-game up on both Raiders Tirol and the Madrid Bravos in the South Division while Berlin shares third place in the North Division with the Hamburg Sea Devils, with the Nordic Storm leading the division at 4-0. Munich was a playoff team in 2024 after a 9-3 finish, dropping a wild card game to the Paris Musketeers. The Thunder were 5-7 and missed the postseason.

The Ravens come off a 58-14 blowout of the visiting Helvetic Mercenaries on June 15. Berlin blasted out to a 49-0 halftime lead as Russell Tabor went 11-of-13 for 216 yards and three touchdowns before giving way to backup Levin Adrom, who was 9-of-13 for 111 yards and a score. Benedikt Pohler picked up 71 yards on 12 carries and Jannik Nowak hauled in two TD receptions. Tabor has completed 61.5% of his throws for 902 yards and 12 touchdowns, while Justin Rodney leads the running game with 263 yards and a 5.4-yard-per-carry average. Dexter Fitzpatrick keys the defense with four sacks.

Berlin also comes off a victory, taking down the visiting Fehérvár Enthroners 38-21 on June 15. Jakeb Sullivan finished 19-of-33 for 282 yards and two touchdowns while also running for 75 yards and a score. Samual Oram-Jones ran for a touchdown as well. Sullivan is second in the league with 1,522 passing yards but has nine interceptions against 12 TD tosses. He is also the team’s leading rusher with 161 yards. Niklas Schumm leads the receiving corps with 336 yards on 27 receptions with three TDs.

Munich beat the Thunder at home back on May 24, taking a 38-16 decision behind four touchdown passes and a rushing score from Tabor, as the Ravens piled up 196 rushing yards.
