Jesper Svensson enters the final round of the FedEx Open de France on Sunday with a one-shot lead at Le Golf National in suburban Paris after another solid round on Saturday. His four-under-par 67 leaves him at 13-under for the tournament, one shot better than Thorbjørn Olesson and Sam Bairstow. Olesen also carded a 67 on Saturday while Bairstow shot a second straight 65. Thomas Detry, who shot the low round of the tournament on Friday with a 63, blew up to a one-over 72 on Saturday and fell into a tie for 15th place.

If Svensson holds on for the win, he would jump six places to No. 3 on the Race to Dubai leaderboard with just two events remaining before the playoffs. Rory McIlroy is the runaway leader with 4,532.33, with Thriston Lawrence second at 2,924.94 and Billy Horschel third at 2,480. The winner gets 835 points and the winner’s share, $552,500, from the tournament’s $3.25 million purse.
Svensson is looking for a second career win to add to his victory at the Porsche Singapore Classic back in March. Joe Dean and Dan Bradbury are tied for fourth at 11-under-par, two shots back, with Gyunner Wiebe, Francesco Laporta, Yannik Paul, Matthew Jordan and Simon Forsström tied for sixth, three shots behind.
Johannes Veerman matched the low round of the event on Saturday with a 63, climbing into a tie for 11th at nine-under-par. Veerman was coming off a two-over 73 on Friday. The top 110 players in the Race 2 Dubai standings earn DP World Tour cards for 2025, with the top 72 advancing to the playoffs.
