Luxembourg has never managed a competitive win over Germany, with its only victory in this head-to-head coming in March 1939, not long before the latter began its occupation of the former.

The Red Lions have no chance of reaching the 2026 World Cup after losing each of their four qualifiers to date, but that doesn’t mean they can’t still have an impact on other sides’ fortunes.
