The Yankton Bucks look to make it three wins in a row against the Tea Area Titans.

Over the last two seasons Yankton (5-2) and Tea Area (4-3) have split the four meetings against each other between the regular season and the playoffs. In 2021 the Titans won in the playoffs and then again in the regular season in 2022. The Bucks swept the two games last season with a double-digit win in the regular season followed by a very tightly contested win in the semifinals of the playoffs. This is one of the biggest games of the regular season for both teams. The Bucks are up to 10th in the state and on the hunt for another run to the state championship while the Titans are looking to bounce back from two straight losses.

In their two losses the Titans fell to Brookings (29-22) and Watertown (25-0). Both games were on the road, as have all three of the Titans losses this season. They return home to take on the Bucks, who are one of their biggest rivals in recent years.

At home this season the Titans are averaging 50.3 points per game winning all three. On the defensive end they have allowed 10 total points, including a 54-0 win in their last home game in what was their best overall performance of the season against Mitchell.

For the Bucks, they are 3-1 on the road. In those four games they have allowed 47 total points to opponents while averaging 36.5 points per game. They exploded for 74 points in a road win against Douglas for their largest margin of victory and most points scored in a game this season.
