Marseille could secure Champions League qualification with a win at Le Havre on Saturday. Watch the game live and for free on Fubo today.

The race for the Ligue 1 title has long since been decided, but the prize of Champions League qualification is still on the table for Marseille and could be decided in Saturday’s visit to Le Havre. Les Olympiens sit second in the table and could wrap up a top-three finish with one game to spare should they win at the Stade Oceane this weekend while other results fall in their favor. Le Havre, meanwhile, occupies 16th place and is currently on course to take its place in the relegation play-offs but could climb outside Ligue 1’s bottom three if it manages to bag a second straight win this weekend.

While things may look promising for Roberto De Zerbi’s men at present, it’s important to note Marseille’s season could also fall flat on its face at the drop of a hat.

That’s because of the fact there are currently just two points between second and sixth heading into Week 33, with six different teams still in the running for the two remaining automatic Champions League qualifier spots.

Marseille shared the spoils on the road to Lille last time out and were even somewhat unfortunate not to have taken all three points after Amine Gouiri opened the scoring in the 57th minute:

The issue, however, is that the looming threat of relegation has suddenly sparked Le Havre into life, with the club managing to take 10 points from the last 18 on offer in Ligue 1.

The club’s 2025 includes wins over the likes of Lille, Lens, Auxerre, Nantes and Montpellier, as well as a recent draw against third-place Monaco.

All the more reason for De Zerbi’s side to be cautious as Marseille seeks a 10th straight win in this fixture, having not lost to Le Havre since all the way back in January 2001.

Regional restrictions may apply.
