Saint-Etienne has lost four in a row against Paris Saint-Germain as the Ligue 1 rivals reunite on Saturday. Watch the game live and for free on Fubo today.

Paris Saint-Germain will host Saint-Etienne on Saturday in the hopes of extending its unbeaten season and moving even further clear at the Ligue 1 summit. Luis Enrique’s men come into Week 27 sat 19 points clear at the French summit and looking like shoo-ins for yet another title, while Les Verts are mired in the mess of a relegation battle and travel to the Parc des Princes sat 17th in the standings. PSG could even wrap up their title this weekend – with seven games still to play – if the right results go in its favor elsewhere, with the capital club primed to continue its reign of terror in Ligue 1.

The title will remain in Paris if PSG manage to beat Saint-Etienne and second-place Marseille lose away to Reims, while Monaco and Nice – third and fourth, respectively – draw in the Derby de la Côte d’Azur.

Les Parisiens took some sting out of the title race after beating Les Olympiens 3-1 at home two weeks ago, increasing the gap at the top of the table to 19 points in the process.

Ousmane Dembele kept up his hot streak of scoring form and still leads the Ligue 1 goal hunt following his 21st finish of the season, while Nuno Mendes also bagged for Enrique’s side:

PSG will be lacking some support at the Stade Geoffrey-Guichard, however, after it was decreed that the club’s fans will be banned from travelling to the fixture.

A statement from the Loire prefecture cited “the risk of public order disturbances linked to the antagonism between supporters of the two teams” as its reason for limiting the movement of PSG’s fans.

It was back in January 2021 that Saint-Etienne most recently managed to get a result out of this fixture after holding PSG to a 1-1 draw, but the chances of repeating the feat on Saturday seem slim.
