Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal face off on Court Philippe-Chatrier in the men’s singles quarterfinals at the 2022 French Open on Tuesday.
In their 59th career meeting and 10th at the French Open, Djokovic and Nadal will face off on Court Philippe-Chatrier on Tuesday at the 2022 French Open quarterfinals. The first match between the two was in the quarterfinals of the 2006 French Open, where Nadal won the first two sets before Djokovic bowed out due to injury.

In 2015, Djokovic defeated Nadal in straight sets, becoming only the second man to defeat the Spaniard at the French Open. Nadal later went on to win the French Open four more times as he is aptly nicknamed “the King of Clay.”
Djokovic beat Nadal in the semifinals in 2021, as the Serbian star became the first man to beat Nadal twice at the French Open, winning in four sets.
Nadal and Djokovic face off on Tuesday in what is sure to be another classic match between two of the best tennis players in the sport’s history.
