How to Watch T-Mobile Match Play, Group Stage: Stream LPGA Tour Live, TV Channel

The LPGA Tour heads to Las Vegas for the fourth edition of the Match Play tournament on Wednesday.

With a modified format for this year’s event, 96 golfers will tee off Wednesday for the first round of stroke play aiming to qualify for the weekend’s match play event from Shadow Creek in Las Vegas, Nevada. Each of the last three match play event winners are in the field as well as Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings leader Nelly Korda who tees it up for the third consecutive week in search of her fourth title of 2024. After Thursday the top 65 and ties will advance to Friday where another cut will take place, as eight golfers will face-off in a single-elimination match play bracket before the final 18-hole championship match on Sunday.

In 2023, Pajaree Anannarukarn won her second LPGA Tour event beating Ayaka Furue 3-1 to take home the win. Anannaurakarn went on to make the cut in four of the five LPGA Tour majors, finishing in the top-40 in three of those events.

23-year-old Japanese phenom Ayaka Furue has finished second at this event in back-to-back years and last season posted top 10 finishes at the Women’s PGA Championship and the U.S. Women’s Open. Furue is grouped with Anannarukarn and 2021 winner of this event Ally Ewing in today’s round.

Nelly Korda won last week at the Ford Championship in Gilbert, Arizona, firing a final round 65 to win by two strokes over Hira Naveed.

Up for grabs is 500 Race to the CME Globe points as well as a $300,000 first prize.
