Matching 62s on moving day vault Andrew Novak, Rafael Campos to the top of the leaderboard in Bermuda. Watch free on Fubo.

Andrew Novak came out of the chute red hot, going out in 29 with seven birdies on the front nine before settling for a nine-under-par 62 on Saturday in the third round of the Butterfield Bermuda Championship at Port Royal Golf Course in Southampton, Bermuda. Novak will play in the final group on Sunday with Rafael Campos, who also carded a 62 to grab a share of the lead at 16-under-par. Second-round leader Justin Lower, also in the final threesome, birdied four holes on the front nine, but a pair of bogeys on the back leave him one shot off the lead.

Novak and Campos each enter Sunday in pursuit of a first career PGA Tour victory, with Novak never finishing in the top five in 84 career starts. Campos’ best effort was a tie for second at the Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship in March 2021. Novak has four top-10 finishes in 2024 while Campos has one.

A victory would jump Novak into the coveted 51-60 spots on the FedExCup Fall schedule, which has one event remaining after Sunday. With a win, Novak would move from 93rd to 56th and get into position for entries into next year’s first two Signature events, the Pebble Beach Pro-Am and the Genesis Invitational. Campos would move from 147th to 80th and likely secure his Tour card for next year.

Wesley Bryan had the low round of the day on Sunday with a 61 and is three shots off the lead. Lucas Glover, Troy Merritt and Sam Ryder are tied for fifth, four shots behind, with a group of seven players tied for eighth at 11-under-par, five shots in arrears.
