The PGA Tour’s only Wednesday through Saturday event tees off at San Diego’s Torrey Pines on Wednesday.

The Farmers Insurance Open, with its unique schedule that was put in place for the 2022 tournament, opens Wednesday on the North and South courses at Torrey Pines in San Diego. Players will alternate between the two courses on Wednesday and Thursday before the cut, with the final two rounds to be contested on the South Course Friday and Saturday. The change to the schedule was made to avoid the final round running head-to-head against the NFL’s conference championship games on Sunday afternoon. Defending champion Matthieu Pavon returns to defend his lone PGA Tour title.
