FedEx Cup Fall swing returns this weekend with the Sanderson Farms Championship in Mississippi. Watch free on Fubo.

The race to lock in full PGA Tour cards for next season continues this weekend at the Sanderson Farms Championship at The Country Club of Jackson in Jackson, Mississippi. The tournament marks the second of eight stops on the FedEx Cup Fall schedule, where players outside of the top 50 on the season-long points list have a chance to move up and earn exemptions to next year’s Signature Events. The fall portion of the schedule allows players ranked 51-70 to gain entry to the first two of the premier events in 2025 while all of the players are looking to lock in top-125 spots and PGA Tour cards. Those finishing 126-150 earn conditional status and can regain Tour status at Q-School.

Patton Kizzire was the first winner on the FedEx Cup Fall schedule when he captured the Procore Championship on Sept. 15. That earned him a two-year PGA Tour exemption and a spot in the PGA Championship.

Defending champion Luke List enters the tournament in 78th place in the Fed Ex Cup Fall standings and missed 12 of 22 cuts this season. He last played in the Wyndham Championship in mid-August and his last made cut was in the Rocket Mortgage Classic at the end of June. List’s victory came in a five-player playoff.

The tournament was first played in 1968 as the Magnolia Classic and spent much of its history as an alternate event opposite a major championship or limited-field tournament. Three players have won the event twice. Dwight Nevil turned the trick in 1973-74, Brian Henninger won in 1994 and 1999 and, most recently, Fred Funk added the 2004 championship to his 1998 title.
