Justin Lower, Nico Echavarria and Carson Young share the lead entering the final round on Sunday at El Cardonal.

Justin Lower took full advantage of moving day, firing a nine-under-par 63 on Saturday to claim a share of the lead entering the final round on Sunday of the World Wide Technology Championship at El Cardonal in Los Cabos, Mexico, in Baja California. Lower capped his round with an eagle at the par-five 18th and shares the lead with Nico Echavarria and Carson Young, who shot the low round of the tournament on Friday with a 61. Echavarria posted a four-under-par 68 on Saturday while Young carded a 67. The trio holds a one-shot lead over Joe Highsmith, Austin Eckroat and second-round co-leader Max Greyserman, with Ben Griffin and Maverick McNealy two shots back at 14-under-par. David Lipsky, Daniel Berger, Wesley Bryan, Ryan McCormick and Tom Hoge are tied for ninth, four shots off the pace.

The tournament is the sixth of eight stops on the FedExCup Fall schedule, now in its second year. The winner earns $1.296 million from the event’s $7.2 million purse as well as a full two-year PGA Tour exemption. Lower and Echaverria would each move into the coveted 51-60 spots on the points list that will also receive exemptions to next season’s first two Signature events, the Pebble Beach Pro-Am and Genesis Invitational.

The players in spots 51-125 earn full PGA Tour cards for next season while the players in the top 50 after the Tour Championship in early September gained entry into all eight Signature events on the 2025 schedule.
