Philip Rivers and Aaron Rodgers have been fixtures on our television screens for more than a decade. There's never been a direct rivalry between the two since they've both been in different conferences but they've always maintained a level of excellence and lit up the scoreboard. Just let Rodgers sum it up for you.

Rodgers didn't tell a lie. He is great all the time and when it's all said and done, he will be an instant hall of famer. As it sits right now though, Rivers has Rodgers beat in nearly every category. To be fair Rivers started regularly in 2006 while Rodgers took over for Brett Favre in 2008. FOX Sports put together a comparison of their stats and they are all very impressive.

It may be fair to expect that when both of these men's career's are complete, Rodgers will pass Rivers in every category. The Packers legend is 36 while Rivers is 38 and on a one year contract but should be in the league several more years. The only stat that might be safe is in the kids column. Some records aren't meant to be broken. Either way, both of these QBs should be in the Hall of Fame on just their numbers alone.

These teams have good records (Packers (7-2) Colts (6-3)) but have inexplicably struggled against poor teams. The Packers barely beat the 1-8 Jacksonville and the only win they have was against the Colts in the season opener. The Packers couldn't get their offense going against the then 2-5 Vikings a couple of weeks ago and they let Dalvin Cook run all over them.

That is how the Colts are going to have to win this one. The Packers offense is statistically better in every category this year over the Colts. But it's not by a landslide and Indianapolis' defense is one of the best in the league. They are only giving up 307 yards per game compared to the Packers 352 a game. This Colts passing defense is particularly phenomenal.

They need to get their running game going like they did against their divisional rival Tennessee Titans which they dominated last week. The Colts rushed for more than 130 yards and Rivers had a great day throwing 308 yards which was more than double Titans' QB Ryan Tannehill. That disparity won't happen again in this game, but if Rivers could nearly match Rodgers they have a real chance of taking the lead in AFC South over the Titans.
