No. 4 seed Brewster Academy meets 5th-seeded CIA Bella Vista in a Chipotle Nationals quarterfinal on Thursday.

Two teams that haven’t played in nearly a month leap back into action on Thursday night in a quarterfinal matchup at the Chipotle Nationals, being played at Hamilton Southeastern High School in Fishers, Indiana. Fifth-seeded Culinary Institute of America Bella Vista School (21-6) from Scottsdale, Arizona, takes on No. 4 seed Brewster Academy (27-4), located in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. Both teams come off losses to Long Island Lutheran, the No. 3 seed in the field, at last month’s Nike Elite Youth Basketball League conference tournament.

The Bears of Bella Vista dropped a 58-52 decision to LuHi in the semifinals of the Nike EYBL tournament on March 7. Miles Sadler and Jaion Pitt scored 11 points each in the loss. The Bears feature a pair of ESPN 100 seniors in center Mouhamed Sylla, committed to Georgia Tech, and Pitt, a power forward who remains uncommitted for next season.

On March 6, the Bobcats lost by the same 58-52 margin to Long Island Lutheran in a Nike EYBL quarterfinal. Sebastian Wilkins paced the offense with 13 points, with Kilian Toure and Ebuka Okorie each tossing in 11. Brewster Academy has an ESPN 100 senior, small forward Dwayne Aristode from the Netherlands, who signed with Arizona.

Bella Vista’s Sadler is an ESPN 60 junior point guard and sophomore center Paul Osaruyi is No. 4 on the ESPN 25 for the Class of 2007. Bobcat power forward Wilkins is an ESPN 60 junior.
