A.J. Dybantsa and Darryn Peterson lead the west roster as the top two players in the country at the 2025 McDonald’s All-American Game on Tuesday.

The future of college basketball is on display as the four No. 1 seeds get ready for the Final Four. A.J. Dybantsa and Darryn Peterson, the top two players in the country, will team up for the west roster before heading to play for BYU and Kansas, respectively. On the other side for the east roster the Boozer twins, Cameron and Cayden, ranked third and 16th respectively will lead the lead way before heading to Duke. The Blue Devils continue to add high level talent after bringing in Cooper Flagg, Isaiah Evans, Kon Knueppel, Pat Ngongba and Darren Harris all ranked in the top 31 last season.

This senior class in boys high school basketball is one of the most revered in years with multiple players already in the conversation for being the top pick in the 2026 NBA Draft. Nate Ament from Virginia is one of those players, but has not made a college decision heading into the McDonald’s All-American Game.

Dan Hurley and UConn are reloading the program after their reign as back-to-back champions came to an end. They are adding 14th ranked Braylon Mullins, 22nd ranked Eric Reibe and 27th ranked Darius Adams who will all get to play together here in this all-star format.

The last two McDonald’s All-American Games have been decided by a combined five points. Last season Derik Queen led the way for the east team last season with 23 points, eight rebounds and five assists in an 88-86 win.
