Last season the Huskies swept the regular season series winning all four games against the RedHawks. In those four games they outscored the RedHawks 17-5 with only one game, the first of the regular season, decided by less than two goals. That is a positive sign for the RedHawks heading into back-to-back games against the Huskies.

This season the Huskies are off to an exciting start winning three straight games by just one goal and five of their six wins overall by just one goal. In their three losses this season the Huskies have been held to a combined three goals showing the need for their offense to get off to a strong start.

For the RedHawks this season they started with two ties followed by two wins. In those four games they combined for 14 total goals. Since then the offense has faded away scoring a total of just eight goals in the last six games. Both teams struggle to find the win column when the offense is not clicking or scoring multiple goals so far this season.
