The Michigan Wolverines look to avoid getting swept by the Wisconsin Badgers on Saturday night in a college hockey battle. The Wolverines got off to a hot start against the Badgers on Friday night as they led 4-2 midway through the second quarter, but they couldn’t hold that lead as they gave up the next three goals and lost 5-4. It was the second straight loss for the Wolverines and dropped them to 14-10-1 on the season and 8-7 in the Big Ten. It is the second time the two teams have met this year. They played in Ann Arbor in the middle of December with the Badgers winning the first game 4-0 and the Wolverines winning the second game 3-2 in overtime. The Wolverines are hoping they can do the same thing on Saturday and earn a season split with the Badgers. The Wolverines will return home for two games with Penn State next weekend, but first need to get a big road win on Saturday night.
