The Tigers scored twice in the first period and then put the game away in the second period with four more goals. They only outshot the Bulldogs by one, but they made the most of them to get the much-needed win. The win got them back even in conference play at 5-5-1 and has them at 11-9-1 overall. Gleb Veremyev is leading the team with six goals, while five players are right behind him with five goals. Laba is one of the players with five goals and he also leads the team with 12 assists and 17 points.

The loss snapped a two-game winning streak for the Bulldogs as they had picked up a big sweep of St. Cloud State last weekend.
