The fifth ranked Black Bears would win in a shootout 2-0 to get the extra point for the conference standings. They now sit at 18-5-5 on the season and 10-3-5 in conference play. The Black Bears won the first meeting between the two teams back on November 22nd and will be looking to secure a season series win on Saturday night. Last weekend the Black Bears played No. 7 Providence to a tie and then won on Saturday in overtime. They are hoping they can repeat that success on Saturday against the Wildcats.

The tie on Friday night snapped a three-game losing streak for the Wildcats as they lost to Boston University, Boston College and Merrimack.

It has been a struggled in conference play for the Wildcats this season as they are just 3-11-3 in such games. They are 11-12-4 overall and are looking to get back to .500 with a win on Saturday.

The Wildcats have been led by Ryan Conmy who has a team-high 13 goals and 25 points. Robert Cronin and Liam Devlin are second in points with 21 each. Devlin is the team leader in assists with 14.
