The Lightning will face yeat another possible elimination game tonight in game six of the Stanley Cup Finals. The Avalanche took a 2-0 series lead before the NHL’s dynasty team took its first game.

Tampa Bay won game three 6-2 to put a little pressure on Colorado as the finals went along. Colorado responded to that pressure in game five with a 3-2 in overtime. It actually came back from a 2-1 deficit heading into the third period scoring once in the third to tie it up and then early in overtime to win the game on the road.
With its back against the wall, Tampa Bay came out in game five and once again drew the series to a once game deficit with elimination as a possibility. Ondrej Palat was able to score late in the third period to secure the win for the Bolts.
All eyes will be on Mikko Rantanen and Valeri Nichuschkin for Colorado as it tries to close out the finals and win a championship. Andrei Vasilevskiy will have to be on top of his game as well to keep Rantanen, Nichuschkin, and MacKinnon out of the net.
