The Stanley Cup Finals continue on Wednesday with the Avalanche still holding a 2-1 series lead against the Lightning.

Game one was the closest game so far. Colorado ended up winning 4-3 on the back of a goal and an assist by Valeri Nichushkin.
Game two got wildly out of hand early and it never got close. Colorado won the second straight game at home in a 7-0 shutout and statement of domination. Nichushkin scored two goals, while Mikko Rantanen assisted on three of the seven goals.
After going down 2-0 in the series, Tampa Bay needed game three to prove that this series wasn’t over. It not only proved that, but the Lightning made a domination statement. It won 6-2 with a goal and an assist from Steven Stamkos.
Game four will be another must-win for Tampa Bay to even the series on home ice. If Nichushkin and Colorado can squeak out a win, it could spell the end for Tampa Bay.
