Oklahoma will roll into Blacksburg for Super Regional play with the hopes to turn its hot streak into a National Championship.
Oklahoma and Virginia Tech will square off in the first game of the Super Regional today. The Sooners have made it to this stage following a regional win against No. 13 Florida. Virginia Tech won its regional, as well, knocking off Wright State and Columbia.

While the Sooners beat the Gators in the first game 9-4, the team dropped the second game 7-2. With the series tied at one game apiece, the Sooners showed determination and resilience to come from behind and win the game 5-4 to advance in the College World Series.
The Hokies were perfect in the regional tournament beating Wright State 15-9 in the first game before beating Columbia 24-4 in game one and 7-2 in game two. The first two games are performances Virginia Tech will hope to duplicate against the Sooners this weekend.
With both teams being so strong and putting up such solid performances when it counts the most, this weekend’s Super Regional should be highly competitive.
