The Cubs will try to turn the page on Monday against the Padres after an embarrassing 18-4 loss on Sunday.
The Padres (37-24) are on the road at Wrigley Field today to play game one of a four-game series with the Cubs (23-36).

The Cubs are coming off of an unfortunate sweep by the Yankees which culminated with a whopping 18-4 loss yesterday. Despite the Cubs scoring first, the Yankees absolutely dominated the game.
In the bottom of the first, the Yankees scored five runs and did not slow down after that. Another 13 runs over the course of six more innings was more than the Cubs could compete with and they dropped the final game.
The Padres are coming off of a split series with the Rockies. San Diego picked up the first two games of the series. The Rockies snagged the next two games.
Justin Steele will take the mound for the Cubs. He has a record of 1-5 with an ERA of 4.79. The Padres will send Yu Darvish to the mound. He is 5-3 with a 3.61 ERA.
