Yoshinobu Yamamoto and the Los Angeles Dodgers will take the mound against MacKenzie Gore and the Washington Nationals on Thursday afternoon.

The Los Angeles Dodgers will stay on the road tonight for the final game of this three-game series against the Washington Nationals at National Park in the District of Columbia. The Dodgers lead the series 2-0 heading into this final game. They were able to take the first game 4-1 with Alex Vesia picking up the win after pitching 1.1 scoreless innings with one strikeout. The offense was provided in large part by a solo home run from Shohei Ohtani to go with single RBIs from Enrique Hernandez, James Outman, and Miguel Rojas. Yesterday, they doubled down with a massive 11-2 win. Landon Knack picked up his first win of the season pitching 6.0 innings with two earned runs and five strikeouts. Ohtani, Mookie Betts, Gavin Lux, and Freddie Freeman all had two RBIs each to account for eight of the 11 runs with the other three coming from Max Muncy, Will Smith, and Andy Pages. Only two starters finished the game without an RBI. Washington will look to avoid the sweep tonight.
