The Fighting Irish come to the tournament as the fourth seed and are in Group D with No. 9 Florida State and No. 5 Virginia.
They will battle the Cavaliers on Friday in their final group game, but first want to take care of a Florida State team that it swept earlier this year.
They won a classic 2-0 game in 12 innings in game one and then followed up with a 5-4 win in game two.
The Fighting Irish completed the sweep in game three, winning 9-7.
However, Florida State will be looking to avenge that loss and put a dent in Notre Dame’s hopes of winning the ACC tournament with a win on Thursday.
The Seminoles struggled to finish the regular season and ended with a 15-15 record in the ACC. Thursday, they will look to put that behind them and get a big upset win over the Irish.
