The Throne National Championship showcases Kell and Central Cabarrus in high school basketball today.
The Throne National Championship kicks off four days of high school basketball with some of the best teams in the country all in competition. This game features Kell (28-3) from Georgia and Central Cabarrus (33-0) from North Carolina. Both teams won their respective state championships and are ranked highly in the MaxPreps National Rankings this season. The Longhorns come in ranked 17th in the country, third in Georgia, and have won 27 straight games. The Vikings closed their season undefeated, ranked fifth in North Carolina and 15th in the country after one of the most impressive seasons in all of high school basketball.

The winner of this game will move on to the second round where they will face the winner of Explorers (Florida) and Notre Dame (California) to advance on to the semifinals of The Throne National Championship.
