Texas A&M and Oklahoma will meet today in the first game of the College World Series. The Aggies knocked off Louisville in two games with scores of 5-4 and 4-3.

The Sooners won their first game against Virginia Tech with a close 5-4 victory. The Hokies returned in game two to win 14-8 to force a game three. Luckily, the Sooners used that as motivation to bounce back and secure game three with a big 11-2 win.
The fifth-ranked Aggies have swept their competition in post-season play thus far and will look to continue that trend in the College World Series. Despite the challenges the Sooners have encountered in the regionals and super regionals, they have found their way back to the biggest tournament in college baseball and will look to continue on in the winner’s bracket with a win today.
The 22nd-ranked Sooners will look to pull off a big upset and stay in the winner’s bracket with a win this afternoon. The good news for the Sooners is they will get two chances to hang on and it make their way toward a National Championship.
