On Friday night, No. 3 Oregon will host No. 1 Baylor in Eugene for a Tumbling and Acrobatics competition as the teams look to finish out the season on a high note. The Ducks come into Friday night’s meet with an overall record of 2-2. Most recently, the team took on Hawai’i Pacific and pulled off a 276.915 – 258.345 victory on the road. The team started off strong with a perfect 10Â in the open pyramid heat. Hawai’i Pacific began making a comeback, but the Ducks recorded a season-high 29.25 in the following toss event to take a healthy lead into the team event. The team finished with a season-high 94.14 on the final event, peaking at just the right time of the season.

The Bears have had a strong season so far and bring an undefeated record of 7-0 into Friday night’s competition. The last time the team was out on the mat was on March 23 against No. 13 Augustana and resulted in a 281.600 – 269.355 victory on the road. With the win, the team improved their multi-season win streak to 34 meets. Starting off the meet, Baylor had a Compulsory score of 37.20. A score of 9.45 was garnered in Acro, 9.85 in Pyramid, 9.90 in Toss and an 8.00 in Tumbling. Going into the second event, BU was up 37.20 to Augustana’s 36.10 score.
