    The winner of this match will advance on to play the winner of the fourth and final quarterfinal of the day between second-seeded Aryna Sabalenka and unseeded Mirra Andreeva who has proven to be one of the brightest young stars in women’s tennis today.

    Heading into this match Rybakina has won in straight sets taking down three unseeded players in Lucia Bronzetti (6-4, 6-3), Mayar Sherif (6-1, 6-4) and Sara Bejlek (6-1, 6-3) to advance to the quarterfinals. Putinsteva has wins over sixth-seeded Qinwen Zheng, 10th-seeded Daria Kasatkina and 41st-ranked Caroline Dolehide on her path to this point in the tournament.

    In the two quarterfinals that have already been completed top-seeded Iga Swiatek and 18th-seeded Madison Keys have already advanced. Those two will play for the championship slot from that side of the bracket while the winner of this match will face off with Sabalenka or Andreeva for the other slot.
