This Sunday, the Michigan Panthers will try to win back-to-back games for the first time this season when they welcome the Arlington Renegades to Ford Field for Week 6 UFL action.
Through the first half of the 2024 UFL season, the Michigan Panthers (3-2) have been an up-and-down team. They beat the St. Louis Battlehawks 18-16 in Week 1, and since have alternated wins and losses in every game. Last week being an odd-number week they came away with a win and a season-best offensive performance as they took down the Memphis Showboats 35-18. This week, they’ll try again for their first back-to-back wins of the season as they host the Arlington Renegades (0-5) at Ford Field.

In that massive offensive performance last week the Panthers were very efficient. They went 7-for-14 on third downs, and scored touchdowns on four of their six red zone trips. Defensively they forced four turnovers, with two interceptions and two fumble recoveries.
On the other side is an Arlington team that has come close to picking up its first win of the year, but still hasn’t been able to get over the hump. Four of the Renegades five losses have come by 10 points or fewer, including a 25-15 loss to the San Antonio Brahmas last week.
